BUDS2 All Dealers Technician License

The hardware and software configuration of your computer plays a critical role in ensuring stable and optimal performance of BUDS2 diagnostic software.

Before installation, carefully review the BUDS2 computer requirements table.
The software may not function correctly or may operate with reduced stability if your system does not meet the minimum recommended specifications.

The BUDS2 license can be activated on up to three computers, providing flexibility for workshops, mobile technicians or multi-station diagnostic environments.

The BUDS2 “All Dealers Technician” license provides full dealer-level diagnostic capabilities equivalent to those available to authorized BRP service centers.

When used together with the MPI Diagnostic Kit, BUDS2 with All Dealers Technician privileges allows technicians to perform a wide range of professional diagnostic and configuration procedures, including:

• Editing vehicle identification and configuration information

• Testing, adding or removing DESS keys (except Spyder / Ryker platforms)

• Adjusting engine operating parameters

• Activating electronic module outputs

• Performing controlled engine stop procedures

• Monitoring real-time vehicle operating data

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic system faults

• Replacing and configuring electronic control modules

• Updating module firmware and calibration data

• Reading and resetting historical diagnostic information

• Saving complete vehicle data records to disk

• Printing diagnostic reports and service documentation

This comprehensive license package includes multiple vehicle-specific dealer access modules:

• Sea-Doo Dealer Technician — servicing Sea-Doo PWC MY2017+

• Ski-Doo Dealer Technician — servicing Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles MY2017+

• ATV Dealer Technician — servicing Can-Am ATV models MY2017+

• SSV Dealer Technician — servicing Can-Am Side-by-Side vehicles MY2017+

• Spyder Dealer Technician — servicing Can-Am Roadster Spyder and Ryker MY2017+

Customers can select the license validity period according to operational needs and workload intensity:

The BUDS2 software platform is continuously updated, with new releases adding support for newly introduced BRP models, updated electronic modules and enhanced diagnostic functionality.

All required software — including current and future BUDS2 versions released during the validity period — can be downloaded from our secure MEGA Cloud storage, accessible exclusively to licensed customers.

Two primary access levels are available within the BUDS2 ecosystem:

• Dealer Technician — standard dealer-level diagnostics and configuration

• Mechatronic Expert — extended engineering diagnostic mode with advanced system access

Single-vehicle-category Dealer Technician licenses are available separately.
A dedicated All Can-Am Dealers license (ATV + SSV + Spyder/Ryker) can also be purchased.
For engineering-level functionality, the Mechatronic Expert license is available as an upgrade option.
